Bachelor's Degree in public or business administration, environmental science, occupational safety, engineering or related field from an accredited university.  At least four years' experience in regulatory compliance, environmental protections, environmental regulations or safety and health management. A comparable amount of training, education or experience can be substituted for the minimum qualifications.    Certified Occupational Safety Specialist preferred.


Under the direction of the Executive Director, performs routine monitoring compliance activities for the District in compliance with existing and proposed laws, rules, regulations and permits governing water, sewer, and operations. Responsible for directing regulatory compliance monitoring, sample collection, and laboratory analysis (in-house and by contract laboratory) for drinking water and wastewater operations. Plans, organizes, manages, directs, and coordinates the District's internal safety and risk management program.
